FACS

FACS courses are taken in sixth and eighth grade. Sixth grade Family and Consumer Sciences are a semester long course. In this course, we learn about recycling and caring for our environment, exploring who we are as an individual, friendships, bullying, communication skills, child care, laundry care, basic sewing skills, nutrition, and various cooking processes. Eighth grade Family and Consumer Sciences are also a semester long course. In this course, we learn about careers, leadership, family, dating, nutrition and making healthy choices, financial literacy and basic sewing skills.
