2023 student art contest winner

The TSC Board of School Trustees recognized the winner of this year's student art contest at its May 10 meeting. Wea Ridge Middle School student Olivia Le received a Best in Show certificate and $75 for Best in Show. The seventh grader’s pencil drawing is framed and displayed at TSC Administrative Offices.
The Student Art Recognition program started in 1990 and rotates between elementary and secondary school submissions. A committee of art teachers and administrators judge the artwork that is submitted by art teachers from each school.
The 2023 art contest runners-up are Harper Fritz from Klondike Middle School and Virginia Lapato from Wea Ridge Middle School.
