The Tippecanoe School Corporation is pleased to announce some administrative changes at two schools. The TSC has selected Clint Wilson, the current assistant principal at Mayflower Mill Elementary School, as the assistant principal at Wea Ridge Middle School. He will replace David "DJ" Jensen who accepted a position with the Attica Consolidated School Corporation. TSC special education teacher Jill Pinkerton will step into the role vacated by Wilson at Mayflower Mill.
Wilson is excited about the opportunity to serve in administration at the middle school level after a year and a half of experience at Mayflower Mill Elementary. Wilson has five years of teaching experience and holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Indiana State University.
At Wea Ridge Middle, Wilson will oversee student discipline, special education, attendance and other duties at the school of almost 650 students and 75 staff members.
"I believe my experiences at Mayflower Mill have prepared me for the transition to middle school," says Wilson. "I look forward to providing a challenging, fun and safe learning environment for students and staff at Wea Ridge."
"The TSC is fortunate to be surrounded by highly capable individuals who can step in and carry out the duties associated with these assignments," says TSC Superintendent Dr. Scott Hanback. "The TSC wishes Mr. Jensen the very best at Attica, his familiarity with that school district will no doubt allow him to be successful in his new position."
